Hand-forged from mild steel, this cross pendant is made entirely by hand in our Secret Harbour forge. No power tools, no shortcuts — just hammer, anvil, files, and a blacksmith’s eye for line and balance. Each piece is one-of-a-kind: subtle asymmetry and the natural texture from hammer blows are part of the character.
Finish & patina
Cleaned and wire-brushed to reveal texture, then sealed with a clear wax to protect the surface while preserving the raw steel look.
Natural darkening and a rustic patina will develop over time with wear; we can apply a light protective oil on request for a deeper, more even tone.
Care
Mild steel will oxidize if exposed to moisture — dry after water exposure and reapply a light oil or wax every few months to maintain finish.
Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged saltwater exposure.
